  • When I am adding/removing my Z-Wave device, it say to press the "Bind Button". Where can I find that on my device?

    Each Z-Wave device has it's own unique bind button, so you will need refer to the Installation FAQs or manual for your particular device. If you are looking at the product's manual, this information is usually found in the "Enrollment", "Network Inclusion/Exclusion", or "Adding to a Network" sections of the manual.

  • What temperature should I set my thermostat to in my home/business to save the most money?

    The general rule of thumb is +/- 7°, depending on if you are heating or cooling the building. During the summer months while you are not at the home/business, set the temperature 7° higher than your desired temperature (ex. instead of 72°, set it to 79°). This will help save you money by not needing to cool as much during the day and the AC unit won't have to run as long to bring the temperature back to your desired setting. During the winter months, decrease the temperature by 7° to have the achieve the same effect for your heater.
