  • What kind of card can I use to pay my balance or update my automatic draft?

    Protect America accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

  • What are the hours of the billing department?

    The billing department is open Monday through Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 1pm-5pm. These hours are in Central Standard Time (CST).

  • What dates can I set my automatic draft to come out on?

    Credit or debit cards can be set up to draft on the 1st of month. Checking or Savings accounts can be set up to draft on the 3rd or the 15th of month.

  • Can I use a gift card I received from Protect America to pay for my monthly monitoring?

    You can use a Protect America gift card to make a payment and also use it to make a pre-payment. We are unable to put the card on file for a recurring monthly draft, so a payment must be made manually and in full.

  • I'm going out of the country for a few months and need to place my billing on hold. How do I do that?

    While we are unable to place an account on hold, we are more than happy to secure your home or business while you are gone.

  • I want to change my checking account that gets drafted monthly to pay my monitoring bill. How long does it take to go into effect after I change it with Protect America?

    All payment information must be updated by the close of the previous month. All credit and debit payments are submitted to be drafted on the 1st of every month. All checking and savings accounts are submitted to be drafted on the 3rd and 15th. Any payment information updated will be drafted the following month.

  • What do I do if I need additional equipment for my new home?

  • Can you take over the system in my new home?

    We have the ability to take over several hard wired systems from many different carriers. Give us a call at (800) 951-5103, option 4, to find out our options to take over an existing security system.

  • Can I move my security system?

    Yes, and there is no charge to move your system from one address to another. We can even send you a free relocation kit containing a screwdriver and new window decals to get you started.   • What do I do with my equipment when I move?
